This track is a composition of pitch shifted vocal samples and samples of sounded farm equipment meant to be played through transducers to resonate drywall. It's part of an installation piece, also named "Sirens/Studs" (2019) which has been displayed at Experimental Sound Studio in Chicago, as well as The Art Institute of Chicago. The installation piece includes plastisol images on canvas which is then hung on the wall, and transducer speakers are attached to the bottom of the wall near the floor. The audience member is invited to place their ear up to the canvas, as if listening in and overhearing music, or a conversation, from another room.
